Camella Kids

Welcome to Camella Kids! I am so glad you found me! I am a Mom who loves hand made things for kids! While pregnant with my daughter Ella, I searched (and struggled) to find cute and affordable art for her room. So what does any crafty Mom/art teacher do, she makes her own snazzy art! After Cam was born I continued to paint and create art for his room and suddenly it hit me...I could do this for other people too! So...Camella Kids was born. Get it..Cam, my son, and Ella, my daughter..Cam-ella. Ok, so you probably figured that out already!

So what do I do...I specialize in handmade painted canvases and wooden letters for your child's room. My designs are sure to complement the decor (i.e. your child's cute bedding, curtains etc..) of your child's room and will add a unique touch to the look and feel of the space. Each one of my paintings is handmade in my smoke free, pet free, home studio. Whether you have a boy or a girl, baby or big kid, you are sure to find something that will accentuate the theme or color scheme of your child's room.

I am super pleased to be teaching some fun art classes at the wonderful Lattes and Lollipops here in Powell, Ohio.  This place is brilliant. The concept of Lattes and Lollipops is this...you pay $10 ($5 for siblings) and your child gets up to 2 hours of supervised play time...yes, that's correct supervised play time. This means that your child can play and you can feel confident that they are being watched and taken care of...all while you enjoy a latte, coffee or lunch with friends or just by yourself.  Its the perfect Mommy get away time. The play area is fantastic, too. There is a bouncy house with slides, awesome dress up clothes and lots of interactive things for the kids to do, all in a carpeted safe environment.  Check it out at www.lattesandlollipops.com

On Mondays I will be teaching a Mommy and me class for ages 2 and 3. This class is from 9:30-10 and will focus on the exploration of different materials all while creating a piece of art to take home.  From 10:15-10:45 I will offer a Pre K/K class for 4-6 year olds.  This class will explore different art mediums as well as various art vocabulary and art techniques. Children will take home a piece of art that they complete in class.
The classes are $15 and this includes the half hour class AND an hour and a half of play time at Lattes and Lollipops!  Pre register by contacting Lattes and Lollipops! I hope to see you there!
