Mommy and Me class at Lattes and Lollipops in Powell

I am super pleased to be teaching some fun art classes at the wonderful Lattes and Lollipops here in Powell, Ohio.  This place is brilliant. The concept of Lattes and Lollipops is this...you pay $10 ($5 for siblings) and your child gets up to 2 hours of supervised play time...yes, that's correct supervised play time. This means that your child can play and you can feel confident that they are being watched and taken care of...all while you enjoy a latte, coffee or lunch with friends or just by yourself.  Its the perfect Mommy get away time. The play area is fantastic, too. There is a bouncy house with slides, awesome dress up clothes and lots of interactive things for the kids to do, all in a carpeted safe environment.  Check it out at www.lattesandlollipops.com

On Mondays I will be teaching a Mommy and me class for ages 2 and 3. This class is from 9:30-10 and will focus on the exploration of different materials all while creating a piece of art to take home.  From 10:15-10:45 I will offer a Pre K/K class for 4-6 year olds.  This class will explore different art mediums as well as various art vocabulary and art techniques. Children will take home a piece of art that they complete in class.
The classes are $15 and this includes the half hour class AND an hour and a half of play time at Lattes and Lollipops!  Pre register by contacting Lattes and Lollipops! I hope to see you there! 

bow holder and memo board!

If you have a little girl, chances are she has a few (or perhaps more) hair bows and clips. The problems lies in what to do with all those clips and bows! I have come up with a solution that is both cute, but functional as well. These grosgrain ribbons hang from a picture frame so you can attach your bows and clips to the ribbon. This displays the lovely bow collection as well as keeps them organized! The picture frame is covered in fun, modern scrapbook paper and is protected with a glossy finish.
Here's the best part....the glass of the frame can be used like a white board. You can use a white board marker and write directly on the glass! You could write your daughter's name or just her initial...or occasionally the "Clean up your room" reminder. Your choice.

A-Z

These might just be my new favorite baby shower/baby birthday gift. These canvas pieces consist of the alphabet done in different patterned paper in different fonts. They are really great for a playroom as well as a child's bedroom. The colors can match just about any decor and as always, the edges of the canvas are lined in grosgrain ribbon.
